Civil Service
Non-negotiated salaries and ranges are determined by making comparisons to like positions in local, regional, state, or national markets, and with particular consideration given to data from similar institutions of comparable size and locale, in addition to our own internal equity.
Salaries and ranges for positions represented by a union are negotiated by the representative bargaining unit.
Most Civil Service positions are based on a standard work week of 37.5 hours. Exceptions to this rule listed in the Flexible Work Schedules policy, University Policy 3.6.25 and 3.4.12.
