Faculty Staff Recognition
Years of Service Employee Recognition Program
In support of Illinois State University’s core values of Collaboration, Respect, and Individualized Attention, a committee was charged during the 2022-2023 academic year with reestablishing an employee service recognition initiative. This initiative, referred to as the Years of Service Employee Recognition Program, will commemorate the milestones of faculty and staff who have dedicated five or more years to ISU, recognizing individuals at each five-year milestone of service to the University. This initiative not only honors the unwavering dedication and hard work of long-serving faculty and staff, but also seeks to increase a sense of belonging through symbolic and public recognition.
The Years of Service Employee Recognition Program will be a feature at the Welcome Back Faculty/Staff Luncheon hosted by Interim President Aondover Tarhule and Dr. Roos Tarhule, with subsequent events announced annually to honor those who have attained their individual milestones at Illinois State University.
